Thanks for this post, I also recommend that you use in your activities the resource link to which in my profile and check out these professionally writing civil war essays, which will be interesting to study, may be useful in studies, or will serve an example in your creation of such works, I recommend using proven things, good luck!

I think it would be more valuable in the long-term for them to figure out resources (for example, a dictionary or an online dictionary) to edit their papers themselves, rather than having someone else edit it for them.

Really? You don’t think helping students find and correct errors should be a teacher’s responsibility?

Yeah, I don’t think there’s any way around reading them…. I would say, I didn’t read their drafts – I gave them checklists to edit their own drafts. So I only had to read the final paper. My best advice would be to figure out what’s best for you. Sometimes it’s better to break it up, but sometimes it’s better to sit down for an hour or two and knock them all out – because once you’re in a groove, it goes much more quickly.

Hi Bill, sorry you’re having trouble. Download the compare & contrast writing unit, and you’ll find the checklist grading form toward the end. If the link isn’t working for you, you can also get it here: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Compare-Contrast-Writing-Unit-for-middle-school-editable-scaffolded-2438597
